With the integration to Hobex, you enable your guests to make fast, secure, and easy payments directly via your Guestnet platform. Whether at Self Check-in, Online Checkout, or when booking additional services – payments are processed directly, fully integrated, and transparently documented.

Requirements for integration

Before activating Hobex, please ensure:

  • You have an active Hobex merchant account

  • Your contract includes online payment functionality (e-commerce interface)

  • You have access to your Hobex API credentials (username, password, terminal ID)

How to set up the integration

  1. Send the following to our support team at [email protected]:

    • Hobex Merchant ID

    • Hobex Terminal ID

    • Username and API password

  2. Select in Hobex which processes payments should be enabled for:

    • Self Check-in

    • Booking of additional services

    • Online Checkout

  3. After integration, test the payment processing:
    Create a test booking and simulate a payment.

  4. Save the settings – and you're ready to go!


Best practices

  • Combine Hobex with automated messages: remind guests of outstanding payments via app or email.

  • Offer multiple payment methods: credit card, debit card, and possibly alternative payment options.

  • Integrate payment prompts directly in Self Check-in: clear communication increases conversion rate.


What to do in case of problems?

  • Payment failed?
    → Check credentials, verify API status in the Hobex portal

  • No connection possible?
    → Check firewall, request IP whitelisting from Hobex
