Introduction – What does this module bring me?
The Sports & Activities module helps you to digitally present activities, experiences, and sports offers and keep them always up to date. This way, you offer your guests a modern, clear information offering – directly integrated into your Guestnet platform.
Function overview
These functions are available in the Sports & Activities module:
Create, edit, and manage entries
Categorization of activities (e.g., hiking, cycling, winter activities)
Flexible control of entry visibility (publish/deactivate)
Optional: mobile optimization, multilingualism, intuitive user interface
How to set up the Sports & Activities module
Open the backend section Guestapp > Sports & Activities
To create categories, click on "Category" at the top right. A window will open in which you can edit or deactivate existing categories. Here you can also change the order or rename the title with the pencil icon.
Select "Manage entries" to access existing categories or activities.
To edit an entry, click the pencil icon next to the desired entry.
To create a new entry, click "New entry" at the top right.
Enter title, description, category, and further information such as difficulty or duration.
Click "Save" to complete the process.
To deactivate an entry, click the icon under "Published" – if it is green, the entry is visible; if it is white, it is deactivated.
Highlight Function
Individual posts can be marked with a star to highlight them as highlights. This affects the order, and marked posts will always appear at the top in the guest view.

No, by deactivating, the entry remains saved and can be published again at any time.

Yes, under "Categories" you can rename or deactivate existing ones.

All manually created entries (not from an interface or TVB) can be edited at any time.

The order of the entries is basically random.
However, individual posts can be marked with a star to highlight them as highlights; these will then always appear at the top in the guest view.
Manual changes to the order, for example via drag-and-drop, are not possible.
