Introduction – What does this module offer me?

The Team module helps you present your staff professionally and make them visible to guests. It ensures a modern, personal guest experience – directly integrated into your Guestnet platform.


Feature overview

These features are available in the Team module:

  • Manage team categories/work areas – e.g. reception, kitchen, housekeeping

  • Add team members with description and image – multilingual support available

  • Control publication (visible/invisible) – entries can easily be deactivated

  • Custom sorting of order – via drag-and-drop

Note: GDPR-compliant, mobile-optimized, fully integrated into the guest view


How to set up the Team module

  1. Open the backend section: Guestapp > Team

  2. Select the "Categories" button to define work areas

    • Create new categories, edit or delete existing ones

    • Input possible in multiple languages

  3. Go to “+ New Entry” to add team members

    • Enter name and description in multiple languages

    • Select a category to assign the person to

    • Optional: add an image (JPG or PNG) for a more personal presentation

  4. Click on "Save" to store the content

  5. Use the publish toggle to show or hide entries

  6. Sort team members as desired via drag-and-drop


FAQ about the module

Do guests need to be logged in to see the module?

No, the Team module is publicly accessible – visible even without login.

Note: If it has been specified in the main menu that the module is only visible to logged-in guests, it can only be viewed by registered users.

Are the data saved?

Yes, all information remains available in the backend, even if deactivated.
