Introduction – What does this module do for me?
The Breakfast Order Service module helps you digitize and automate the breakfast process. It provides a modern, contactless experience – directly integrated into your Guestnet platform.
Function Overview
These functions are available in the Breakfast Order Service module:
Configurable intro texts, base price options, order deadlines
Product management with categories, images, and multilingual support
Flexible time and day control (e.g., ordering for multiple days)
Overview and export of all received orders
Edit, deactivate and sort products
Note: GDPR-compliant, mobile optimization, automation of previous day orders
How to set up the Breakfast Order Service module
Open the backend section Guestapp > Breakfast Order Service
Configure the following in the Settings area:
Activate the "Ask for number of people" option if needed
Optionally activate automatic transfer from the previous day
In the submenu “Custom Breakfast”, create categories and add new products:
Save all entries and test the view in the guest area
Adjust the product order if needed (drag & drop)

No, ordering is also possible without prior login.
Note: If it has been specified in the main menu that the module is only visible to logged-in guests, it can only be viewed by registered users.

Yes, all orders can be viewed and exported in the backend.

Yes, you can deactivate individual days and add custom notes.

The products from the previous order are automatically preselected.
Can I also enter breakfast orders manually in the backend?

Yes, you can manually add orders in the backend. To do this, go to the Breakfast Ordering Service module, click on Orders and then select + New Order. You can enter all relevant details such as room number, last name and the selected products. The order will then appear as usual in the overview.

Automatic item postings are currently only active with the ASA interface.
The breakfast order is always posted within 30 minutes after the order deadline, so that any possible changes are taken into account and only the final order is transferred.
