Introduction – What does this module do for me?
The Morning mail module helps you digitally inform guests about the current day’s events – whether it’s weather, programs, menus, or custom content. It provides a modern, visually appealing guest experience – directly integrated into your Guestnet platform.

Individually customizable daily newspaper with modular content boxes

How to set up the Morning mail module
Open the backend area: Guestapp > Morning mail
Corporate Identity
Store your corporate identity:
Add a custom header image
Create a new Morning mail via “Morning mail > New entry”
Set publication date
Content boxes
Add content boxes; all changes are saved immediately:
New content:
If you want to add custom content. Here you can freely add background color, title color, image, image placement, and text. You can format the text similarly to how you would in a Word document: font size, text color, left/right alignment, etc.
Then click "Save".Weather block:
You can choose between a large and a small box. The weather forecast is then automatically updated to the set date.
Snow depth:
If you want to add the snow report for tomorrow.
Quotes/Sayings:
If you’d like to add the quote of the day, a saying, or something similar. Please choose background color, title color, image, and image placement in the next window. Add an image and the text.
Custom content:
If you want to add your own previously created content, select:
Content from Guestnet:
If you want to add content from other Guestnet modules such as spa treatments, bike tours, etc.
Once you've added a content box, you can add, edit, and arrange as many other content boxes as you wish.
You can arrange the content boxes by defining the desired position in the top left corner of each box.
You can view the Italian and English versions of the Morning mail by clicking “it” or “en” in the top left. Translations will be automatically adopted if they have been stored in Guestnet beforehand.
7. Publish via the “Publish in Guestnet” button – the Morning mail will then be
published at 00:00 on the defined date for all guests.
8. Optional: PDF export for printing
Content boxes
Resize: You can freely resize content boxes by clicking the arrows on the right and bottom sides.
Edit content: With the "gear icon" you can edit the current content of the content box.
Replace content: With the "rotating arrow icon" you can replace the current content of your content box with another content category.
Delete content box: With the "trash can icon" you can delete the content box.
Possible issues
It is important that the browser zoom settings are set to 100%. Otherwise, it may not be possible to move/edit the second or especially the third column of the Morning mail.

Fold once
Even if the Morning mail is created in landscape format, the following settings apply:
The Morning mail must still have the paper format A4 portrait in the settings, because the fold setting is applied during printing. The content is filled page by page in A4 portrait and the following print settings apply:
Important: Select “2 pages per sheet”. The order is then set under "Pages" by selecting “Custom” and entering the order of pages:
Fold twice
If you want to create a Morning mail in landscape A3 format that is folded twice, then in the settings, A3 landscape format must be selected and the checkbox for Morning mail header “with header” must be removed:
This allows you to create 3 columns; you can either create one continuous column or multiple content blocks per column, depending on content length.
