Introduction – Why integrate Mollie?
Mollie helps you enable direct online payments for activities or bookings. It provides a modern, contactless payment experience – fully integrated into your Guestnet platform.

How to set up the Mollie interface
Set up Mollie as a payment method in ASA or Protel Cloud, and enter the code “MOLLIE”.

Write to [email protected] to have the payment function activated
Once activated, go to Settings > Integration > Payment > Mollie in the backend
Link an existing Mollie account or create a new one
Click on “Connect” to establish the connection
After connecting, it may take up to 1 week for Mollie to activate the payment solution
Once active, you can adjust the payment settings in Mollie under “View Account”
Enable the “Online Payment” option for the desired activity so guests can pay directly
Technical Notes for Connecting Mollie
To ensure a smooth connection with Mollie, please observe the following points:
Recommended setup procedure
It is highly recommended to set up the desired payment method in your PMS before connecting Mollie to Guestnet. Otherwise, it may be necessary to disconnect and reconnect the integration properly.
State
Connected: The account is successfully connected to Guestnet.
Not connected: The account is not connected to Guestnet. If unsure, try reconnecting – the Mollie login will be required.
Profile
When connecting Guestnet to Mollie, a separate payment profile is automatically created in Mollie.
Pending review: The profile must be reviewed and activated by Mollie. At least one payment method (e.g. VISA, MasterCard, Instant Bank Transfer) must be enabled.
Active: The payment profile has been approved by Mollie and is ready for transactions.
Payments
Inactive: One or more requirements are not met – payments in Guestnet are not possible.
Active: All requirements are fulfilled – payments in Guestnet are active. If everything is set correctly but the status remains inactive, disconnecting and reconnecting the integration often helps.
Payment method
Missing: The payment method has not been set up in the PMS. In this case, please contact your PMS provider. Guestnet has no control over this.
Active: All requirements are met, and payments in Guestnet are active. If the status still doesn’t change to active despite the correct settings, it often helps to disconnect and reconnect the integration.

In order to complete the online payment, the guest must be logged into their account.

Yes, all payments are visible in the Mollie account and linked to the guest account via Guestnet.

With online payment enabled, only the admin can cancel. Guests cannot cancel their registrations independently. Refunds are processed via the admin area.
