Introduction – What does this module offer me?

The Re:Guest Chat module helps you communicate with your guests quickly and easily – directly via the guest menu. It provides a modern, contactless experience, allowing guests to ask questions or receive information at any time.


Feature Overview

The following features are available in the Re:Guest Chat module:

  • Integration of the Re:Guest chatbot directly in the guest view

  • Display of the chat in the Quick Menu and as a persistent button at the bottom right

  • Seamless real-time communication with your guests

Note: GDPR-compliant, mobile-optimized, automatic synchronization with Re:Guest


How to Set Up Re:Guest Chat

  1. Go to the backend and open Settings > Data base

  2. Enter the Re:Guest API Base URL

  3. If multiple properties have access to Re:Guest, the Request Facility Code is also required.

  4. Save your settings

  5. Navigate to Dashboard > Edit Main Menu > Quick Actions

  6. Activate the chat using the green button

  7. Use drag & drop to position the chat icon where you want it

What data is stored?

All chat conversations are processed according to Re:Guest’s data protection policies. No data is stored in Guestnet.

Re:Guest is an external interface for Guestnet. The integration into Guestnet is free of charge – there are no additional fees from Guestnet. Please note that fees may be charged by Re:Guest.
