Introduction – What does this integration do for me?

The DialogShift Chat module allows you to communicate directly with your guests – easily, quickly, and digitally. The integrated chat enhances the guest experience by providing a modern, instant support channel during their stay.


Feature overview

The following features are available in the DialogShift Chat module:

  • Integration of the DialogShift chatbot directly into the guest view

  • Visible in the Quick Menu and as a persistent button at the bottom of the screen

  • Real-time communication with guests – mobile-friendly

Nota: GDPR-compliant, mobile-optimized, multilingual support via DialogShift


How to set up the DialogShift Chat

  1. Go to the backend and open Settings > Integrations > Communication

  2. Add the integration DialogShift and click on "More".

  3. Incert the DialogShift - Client ID.

Attached you will find an overview of the requirements needed for the connection.

Requirements for the connection:

  • A valid DialogShift-Client ID provided by DialogShift

  1. Once you have successfully connected DialogShift, open the backend:
    Dashboard > Edit Main Menu > Quick Actions

  2. Activate the chat via the green button

  3. Use drag & drop to place the chat icon in your desired position

What data is stored?

All chat conversations are handled according to DialogShift’s privacy policy. No data is stored within Guestnet.

DialogShift is an external integration for Guestnet. The integration itself is free of chargeGuestnet does not charge any additional fees.
