Introduction – What benefits does the FLEXIPASS integration offer?

The FLEXIPASS module allows you to flexibly control door access for your guests.
A prerequisite is that your doors are equipped with Salto locks and are online.
Please contact FLEXIPASS directly to verify compatibility.

By default, access control is based on guests’ check-in and check-out times – ensuring a safe and convenient experience.


Feature Overview

These features are available with the FLEXIPASS:

  • Individual control of door opening times

  • Setting access times for public doors and room doors

  • Assigning “Public Doors” to all checked-in guests


How to set up the FLEXIPASS

  1. Open the backend section Guest App > Digital Key

  2. Define how guests can open doors (default is check-in and check-out times)
    Digital Key > Settings

  3. Optional: Set fixed times for public doors and room doors

  4. Assign all relevant doors to be shown to guests under Digital Key > Public Doors (e.g., garage, main entrance)


Module FAQ

Can I set different access times for different doors?

Yes, you can define both general times and individual times for public doors and room doors.

How do I assign “Public Doors” to guests?

Open Guestnet under Digital Key > Public Doors and select the doors you want all guests to see.

I receive the following error message: "FLEXIPASS currently not available: FLEXIPASS webkey service is currently unavailable." What should I do?

This error message means that the FLEXIPASS webkey service is currently not reachable. This is the responsibility of FLEXIPASS and may have various technical causes. Please contact FLEXIPASS support directly.
