Introduction – Why integrate FUCHS Technik?

Integrating FUCHS Technik allows you to manage door access for your guests flexibly and securely. Please contact FUCHS Technik directly to verify hardware compatibility.
Access permissions are typically based on the guest’s check-in and check-out times – for a smooth and safe guest experience.

These features are available with the FUCHS Technik integration:

  • Individual control of door access times

  • Setting access times for public and room doors

  • Assigning “Public Doors” to all checked-in guests

  • Full integration into the Guestnet guest app

  • Automatic sync of check-in and check-out times from your PMS

Note: The integration is fully GDPR-compliant.


How to integrate FUCHS Technik

  1. In the backend, go to Settings > Integrations

  2. Select Digital Key and then FUCHS Technik

  3. Enter your FUCHS Technik credentials (Company Token & API URL)

  4. Once connected, FUCHS Technik will appear as linked under Digital Key


How to set up the FUCHS Technik module

  1. In the backend, go to Guest App > Digital Key

  2. Choose how guests can open doors (usually based on check-in and check-out times)

  3. Optionally, define fixed times for public and room doors

  4. Under Digital Key > Public Doors, assign the doors that should be shown to guests (e.g. main entrance, garage)


FAQ

Can I set different access times for different doors?

Yes, you can define general and specific access times for both public and room doors.

How do I assign “Public Doors” to guests?

Go to Digital Key > Public Doors and select the doors to display to all guests.

I see the error: “FUCHS Technik currently not available.” What should I do?

This error means that the FUCHS Technik webkey service is currently unavailable. Please contact FUCHS Technik support directly.

Why are guests seeing incorrect check-in or check-out times?

The displayed times are based on your PMS defaults. If, for example, late check-out is set in the PMS, the updated time is automatically shown to the guest.

Can I add an introductory text?

Yes, you can add your desired introductory text under settings.
