Introduction – What are the benefits of integrating Hoxell?

With the Hoxell integration, you connect guest data and interactions from Guestnet directly to your hotel’s internal operations. Tasks, requests and guest feedback are automatically forwarded to the responsible departments in Hoxell.

The result: your team works in a more efficient, structured and guest focused way without manual processes or communication gaps.


Function overview

With the Hoxell integration you can:

  • Transfer guest requests from forms or messages directly as tasks in Hoxell

  • Transmit room service orders

  • Generate tasks for shop orders

  • Automatically forward SPA requests

  • Send weekly program information automatically to Hoxell

  • Forward new registrations for activities

  • Provide participant lists before an activity starts

  • Transmit availability status, for example minimum participants reached or activity fully booked

The transfer runs automatically in the background and ensures smooth communication between Guestnet and Hoxell.


How to integrate Hoxell

Prerequisites:

  • A valid Hoxell Customer Key provided by Hoxell

  • Activation of your Guestnet account by Hoxell via Client ID

Setup steps:

  1. Request your individual Customer Key from Hoxell

  2. Provide your Guestnet Client ID to Hoxell for activation

  3. Enter the Customer Key in the designated area within Guestnet

  4. Test the connection with a sample request or order

After successful setup, tasks will automatically be transferred to Hoxell.


FAQ

Which information is transferred?

All relevant information from the generated system emails is transferred to Hoxell. You can review the transmitted content at any time in the Mail Log.

What can I do if tasks are not transferred?

In most cases this is caused by a configuration issue or missing activation. Please verify that your account has been properly enabled for Guestnet within Hoxell.

How can I define whether notifications are sent by email or only in Hoxell?

In the email settings you can define how notifications are delivered across all modules. You can choose between email only, email and Hoxell, or Hoxell only.

Hoxell is an external interface to Guestnet. The integration within Guestnet is free of charge and does not incur additional fees from Guestnet. Please note that costs may be charged directly by Hoxell.
