Introduction – What benefits does the integration from StayNTouch offer me?

The integration with the StayNTouch Property Management System helps you seamlessly exchange guest data between Guestnet and your PMS. This allows you to automate processes such as check-in, check-out, or data synchronization – enabling a smooth and modern guest experience.

How to set sp the StayNTouch integration

ℹ️ You can connect StayNTouch directly by yourself. A detailed guide can be found in our article on the integration.

Below is an overview of the prerequisites necessary for the connection.

The following credentials are required:

  • A valid user

  • Password

  • URL to the PMS system

Webhook Configuration:

To ensure real-time data transfer, a webhook must be configured in StayNTouch that subscribes to specific events.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to StayNTouch

  2. Navigate to “Settings” > “Chain” > “Webhooks”

  3. Select the delivery type “generic”

  4. Enter the target URL (endpoint) for the webhook

  5. Select the events listed below to subscribe

Events to subscribe:

  • ROOM MOVE

  • ROOM ASSIGNED

  • NEW RESERVATION

  • EDIT RESERVATION

  • CANCEL RESERVATION

  • NO SHOW RESERVATION

  • EDIT GUEST

  • CHECKIN SUCCESS

  • REVERSE CHECKIN

  • CHECKED OUT

  • REVERSE CHECKOUT

⚠️ After successful setup, it may take up to 24 hours for all reservations to appear in the system.

Which data is synchronized?

The following data is transmitted as part of the integration between Guestnet and StayNTouch:

Reservation data:

  • Name

  • Stay period

  • Email address

Guest data from forms (e.g., pre-check-in):

  • Name

  • Address

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Email

  • Phone number

Stay-related information

How often is the data synchronized?

Data synchronization occurs in real-time if webhooks are correctly set up.
If no webhooks are configured, synchronization takes place once daily.
