Introduction – What benefits does the integration from Shiji offer me?

The integration of Shiji helps you automatically import guest and reservation data from your PMS and synchronize it with your Guestnet platform. It ensures a modern, connected guest experience and enables real-time data flow – directly integrated into your Guestnet environment.

  • Automated Data Import from Shiji (SEP)
    Receive guest and reservation data directly from your PMS via webhooks.

  • Sync of Check-in Status & Room Information
    Any changes in Shiji are automatically updated in Guestnet.

  • Real-Time Billing Info Integration
    Guest folios including minibar or room service are displayed on request.

  • Individual Guest Updates (Individual Notifications)
    Guest profile changes are applied immediately to existing reservations.


How to set up the Shiji integration

ℹ️ You can connect Shiji directly by yourself. A detailed guide can be found in our article on the integration.

Below is an overview of the requirements needed for integration:

Requirements for the connection:

  • A valid user, Password, Operator Code, Operator Password, PMS Hotel ID & URL to the PMS system provided by Shiji

The following settings must be made in Shiji when using Webhooks

  1. Create Consumer

    • Open backend → ConfigurationOrganization Structure

    • Edit Vendor Integration → Open Configuration Entity Manager

    • Search for “Consumer” → Click “Add”

    • Code: GUESTNET, Description: Guestnet


  2. Create Webhook

    • Open Integrations > Webhook Manager

    • Add new webhook and use the previously created consumer

    • Enable authentication:

      • Method: Basic Authentication

      • Credentials will be provided by Guestnet

    • Create Webhook Group

      • Name: Guestnet Reservations

      • Method: POST

      • Webhook Types: Reservation Notification & Individual Notification

      • URL: Will be provided by Guestnet

  3. Set Up Sandbox Access & API Documentation

    • Register a user in the Shiji Documentation Center: docs.shijigroup.com

    • Request credentials & client ID via email from Shiji

    • Whitelist domain: connect.guestnet.info (Port 443)


FAQ

Which data is synchronized?

The following data is transmitted as part of the integration between Guestnet and Shiji:

Reservation data:

  • Name

  • Stay period

  • Email address

Guest data from forms (e.g. Pre Check-in):

  • Name

  • Address

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Stay-related information

How often is the data synchronized?

Data synchronization occurs in real time, provided that the webhooks are correctly set up.
If no webhooks are configured, synchronization takes place once per day (not recommended).
