Introduction – What benefits does the integration from RoomRacoon offer me?

The RoomRacoon interface helps you offer your guests a modern, digital stay. This way, you digitize the check-in process, reduce manual effort and provide your guests with a consistently connected experience.

FAQ

Why is the welcome email sent only in English?

The language of the welcome email is based on the language set for each reservation in RoomRaccoon.

In RoomRaccoon, within the Guest Information section of each reservation, there is a dropdown field called Language. This field can be completed in two ways:

  • Manually by the client: the language can be selected and updated directly within the reservation in RoomRaccoon.

  • By the guest: during Online Check-in, the guest can specify their preferred language.

If this field is not completed, the welcome email is sent in English by default.

To ensure consistent and language-appropriate communication, the language field can be set as mandatory in RoomRaccoon under Account Settings → Guest Data.
This ensures that the welcome email is automatically sent in the desired language.
