🔔 Automatic notifications at the right time

In the backend you can now specifically define what triggers your notifications. Using the trigger selection, you determine which event should send a message to your guests, for example at a certain point during their stay. Depending on the trigger you choose, you can also specify a fixed time at which the message is sent.

The notification itself reaches your guests either as an email or as an in app message, depending on what settings the guest activated.

The best part, you only need to set up the notification once. As soon as the chosen conditions are met, it is sent automatically every time, without you having to take care of it again. This saves you time and ensures your guests always receive the right information at the right time.

🎯Age limits for your activities

In the activity calendar you can now set an age restriction for each activity. This lets you define which age group a particular activity is intended for.

Once an age range is set, only guests who actually fall within that range will appear in the guest selection list on the frontend. Guests outside the defined age group will therefore no longer appear automatically in the list.

If an exception is ever needed, you can still add any guest manually to the activity using the free text field, regardless of age.

To make it immediately clear to everyone which age group an activity is intended for, we have also added an info text. It appears at the top of the page and clearly shows the stored age range, even before you select or add guests.

📦 Automatic Product Sync from the POS

Products from the connected POS systems are now automatically imported and updated. Titles, prices, categories and external IDs are transferred one way from the POS into Guestnet. This prevents duplicate products from being created and keeps your product data current at all times, with no manual adjustments needed.

🛠️ New Error Log in the Admin Area

Administrators can now review application errors directly in the admin area, in the new Error Log section, right next to the familiar Mail Log.

Every error is automatically assigned to a module, for example PMS, Payments, Mail or Orders. This makes it easy to see at a glance which area a problem originated from.

The list can be filtered by category, date range and free text search. Only the categories that actually occur in your log are offered as filter options.

The detail view shows the full error message.

Access to the Error Log can be controlled per user via a new permission. Entries in the error log are kept for 21 days.

⚠️ Integration Warnings Now Shown on the Dashboard

Incorrectly configured integrations are now shown directly on the client's dashboard. This means problems stand out right away.

💳 Transaction Number in the Payment Confirmation

The transaction number of a payment is now also shown in the email confirmation. This makes it easier to reconcile and communicate about a specific payment when questions arise.

🎯 Redesigned Activity Editor with Mandatory Pricing

The goal of this release was to make sure a price is actually entered for every activity. Previously, an activity could be saved without any pricing information at all, this is no longer possible.

Pricing is now mandatory: every activity must either be marked as Free or include at least one price category. This is checked both while editing, the form cannot be submitted otherwise and the Prices panel opens automatically, and again when saving.

The editor has also been completely redesigned and now uses a two column layout: a content column plus a settings sidebar with collapsible panels, grouped into Mandatory fields and Optional fields.

The registration options have also been simplified: the toggles for capacity, minimum participants and waiting list are now more clearly structured, with the waiting list option appearing only when capacity is limited.

✨ Reliably Remove Text Formatting

Unwanted text formatting can now be removed more reliably and completely. Alignment and paragraphs are intentionally kept in place, so the underlying structure and layout of your text stay intact.

🔔 Reliable display across all mail clients
Not every email client renders rich HTML correctly. That's why we now automatically fall back to a simpler HTML format, so your mailings look great everywhere. This is especially helpful for Booking emails, which weren't always displayed optimally before. In the mail log, you can now also view the plain text version of an email directly.

📬 Delivery status at a glance
Also in the mail log, you can now see whether an email was delivered successfully or not. Simply hover over the status to see the reason right away, so you always know what's going on.

📍 Predefine sub locations instead of free text
Sub locations can now be predefined, for example a selection of rooms or pool loungers. Instead of typing everything in free text, your guests can simply choose from the predefined list.

🖨️ More detail and receipt printing for manually entered orders
When your team enters an order directly in the backend for a guest, you can now also select serving locations and sub locations. These orders can now also be sent directly to the receipt printer. This makes the whole process even smoother.
